The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses such as Personal Protection in the Home.

 

Any full courses offered, such as Permit Courses, HQL, etc., can be done for 1-2 people, however additional cost may apply.

The NRA Basic Pistol course can be partnered with a Maryland HQL unit option, if the student has not already taken the MD HQL course, for an additional 25.00.   Students may use a firearm they own for this course, contact Tony for details.
